Cocktail Party

As I've mentioned in a previous blog, I'm 21 years old, and I'm a legal drinker! Woohoo! Being that I'm 21 years old, I like to have a good time and go to nice parties; more so classy parties. I've decided to share some tips of mine that I found interesting about throwing a Cool and Classy Cocktail Party!!

1.Set the appropriate time. The traditional time frame for a cocktail party is two to three hour between 6 P.M. and 10 P.M.

2. Have a variety of glasses on hand, depending on the variety of drinks you plan to offer. You should offer wine glasses for wines, juice and water; straight-sided highballs for tall drinks; tumblers for spirits and juices; and martini glasses. In terms of quantity, be ready with approximately twice as many glasses as you'll have guests.

3. For the wine drinkers, have one bottle for every two people, assuming five servings per bottle.

--For the beer drinkers, have one six-pack for every two people, assuming 12 oz. servings.

--Get one or two liquors that can be made into a variety of cocktails (probably vodka, rum, gin, scotch, bourbon, blended whiskey, or tequila)

And of course there should be a dress code for this lovely party!
Dolls, there should be no pant included in your attire! Make sure it's a cute little form fitting short dress. Short doesn't mean skimpy!! If you're not sure what length is acceptable... Take a Look!

Guys, there should be NO jeans, and No Dress Down!! Me personally I'm a funky-unique type girl, that doesn't always follow the rules.. So if you wanna spunk up your dress, or your suit.. then DO YOU!!

Have any questions??? Leave a comment!! Have a nice Cocktail!!
